We concluded our teaching series this past Sunday on beginning or getting back to the basics of following Jesus. In previous weeks, we talked about reading the Bible, praying, and building intentional connections with people in our lives. We ended with the basis of growing as  a Christ-follower "Through Generosity". Because Jesus has been generous with His life (He gave everything) and God has generously given grace and mercy to us through the work of Jesus, then we have every reason to be and model generous living! We talked about the truth that God is not after our money… He is after our hearts and to transform them to worship Him above everything else!
