- it was GREAT to be back worshiping in Jax… absolutely enjoyed teaching in South Florida last weekend but I missed being at the theater with Oasis Church NFL!
- really can tell that our hearts are becoming attached to North Florida… how great is that?
- Justin and the band tore up worship yesterday… it was awesome!
- our team continues to pull together and do whatever it takes each week… all this month, there have key team members gone each week for vacation and time off (which is vitally important!) and each week the team has pulled together… and made the set-up and tear-down of being a portable church happen…
- so glad Oasis Church is not a one man show…we are part of a team!

- two announcements this past week… we are going to be part of the Taste of Northside this Friday the 31st from 5 – 8 pm at New Berlin Elementary… more details of this event can be found here
- and secondly, on August 24, we are adding another pre-school class… for ages 2 – 3…we are so excited at this prospect and are asking you to pray as we expand our team and our resources to better teach these young hearts and minds about Jesus… Oasis Kidz is growing and God is blessing our church…awesome!
- taught on Philippians 3…got through all 21 verses… and yes, the teaching went long! Ha!
- so much good stuff out of this letter that Paul wrote… really enjoying teaching and going through these "Reflections on Philippians"
- will be breaking down chapter 3 and studying it further this week on the blog…feel free to study with us!
- Finally finished cutting the grass on Saturday… it was a project to catch up… I have been neglecting it for a while! Is is fall yet??
- Had two great meetings today… met with a guy who leads local worship events and also met with a guy preparing to plant a church in October…love hearing how God is stirring hearts and moving in new ways in our area…looking forward to how Oasis Church can partner with them and see what happens when we continue to realize we are on the same team!
- We get to do this!! God uses us…in spite of us! Woohoo!
