-weekend started on Friday with me and the boys hanging out all day… Jeanine was able to have a girls day so it was Daddy Time!
- spent about an hour hanging in the garage…not even really doing anything, but that is where the men hang out!
- Can't believe how fast time flies and how big your kids get…seemingly over night…
- Ryan took a nap, Zach and I played a little video game, and had an idea to set-up the kiddie pool…nice
- Chilling by the pool and Zach decides to get me wet…and so the battle was on!
- Totally soaked, totally loving it…and Ryan was getting in on the action too!
- By then, it was dinner time so I stayed out and did some mowing and weed eating… the yard was a jungle…
- note to self…don't fertilize the grass anymore…doesn't need my help!
- Later that evening…had a huge headache…but didn't think anything of it…
- about midnight, I was rotating between being feverish and having the chills and achy all over…
- not much sleep that night!
- Jeanine kept the boys away from me on Saturday…but was not showing any improvement
- Saturday afternoon, I went to the new emergency clinic that opened up recently by River City Marketplace…not another patient was in the building…
- turns out the nurse and doctor are Christ-followers…was able to share with them our Oasis story and what God is doing in our lives
- the nurse just moved back to Jax and has been looking for a church…awesome!
- the doctor goes to a church in Orange Park and I had met his pastor before we launched in February…this world is small
- the doctor told me I did not have strep (yea!) but that I had a summer virus (boo) and just had to tough it out…
- and then he offered to pray with me… and we did! How great is that?
- Texted the team that evening about what was happening…started to feel not as feverish but not feeling very strong
- thanked God that we are in the One Prayer series and that we were already planning on showing a video for the sermon… that took some pressure off me!
- had a good night sleep but still woke up feeling like a truck had hit me at full speed…
- was able to be at church and part of what was happening all morning… didn't shake any hands or give high fives…but I think everybody was ok with that!
- had a great Sunday… right at 100 people…still meeting new people each week…wow!
- Sunday nap felt great…still fighting the virus but feeling much better…
- there is power in prayer!
- love being part of a team!! I know we have to keep growing the team in every area…can't wait to see how it continues to come together!
- today (Monday) I am mostly over it and ready to knock out a ton of stuff this week… let's do it!

Is Oasis of North Florida are a non-denom??? Do you have many middle schoolers attending your services?? I like what I have been reading on your blog. The link to oasisnfl.com doesn’t link to your site.
