- beautiful weekend in North Florida…hot but amazing!
- Friday, had some great meetings with some guys from our church as well as an impromptu meeting with a staff guy at a local church
- really amazed at the different backgrounds of some of the people God is bringing to Oasis
- really excited to realize the backgrounds and gifts of some of these men… lots of leadership and vision!
- looking forward to connecting further with the guys of Oasis Church…
- nope, not against women at all!! (in case you were wondering!)
- Saturday, only had 2 signs to put out… one was stolen last week!
- who would steal a church sign?? Oh, well it was God's sign…they will have to deal with HIM!
- had a really great (and busy!) day Sunday…about 110 people total!
- that means our weekly attendance grew about 15 – 20% during this series…wow!
- Finished our Real "F" Word series on Forgiveness… Livin' Forgiven
- had a whole bunch of elements in the service…but I really think God used it all in a powerful way
- observed communion as a church…I love remembering the work of Jesus on the cross together!
- Looking forward to kicking off a new series this week…"The Money You Could Be…"
- our team shot pics and video for the new series on Sunday… like I said we had a lot going on!
- this week's Mother's Day… I am just saying…
- we announced that all the loose cash taken up this weekend will be given to some single moms in our community… looking forward to meeting some needs together!
- praying that Oasis will be a generous church and will be a church that God uses to meet real needs of real people who are loved by Him…in spite of ourselves!
- ok… gotta go… busy week ahead!
